>Ian Wallace is a successful Tasmanian landscape photographer usually found at the celebrated Salamanca Markets. In summer he conducts photographic workshops with his friend Loic Le Guilly at Cradle Mountain. As well as producing a range of cards, posters and a calendar, he has self published two books. Ian was featured as a Tasmanian Living Artist in 2005. He is a member of the AIPP.

Bruny Island weekend
Just days before sending out this email – I spent a weekend on beautiful Bruny Island (south of Hobart)
I resisted the temptation to shoot using my conventional SLR’s and instead chose to limit most of my captures to infrared – the images taken from the ocean are particularly interesting. Have a look at how white the seaweed is between the rocks and the water – amazing.
Just for the die-hard colour fans I included a very cute photograph of some seals, lazing in the sun!
